Flavours of Andhra- exhibition & sale of cotton handlooms
from Andhra Pradesh in Chennai from 7th to 10th August

Dastkar Andhra,
Dastkar Andhra Marketing Association (DAMA) & dāram bring exquisite
cotton handlooms of Andhra in a variety of fabrics, dupattas, sarees and
pre-shrunk garments for women and men. In its second combined exhibition in
Chennai DAMA and dāram presents vibrant colours, subtle textures and
exciting hand block prints from 7th – 10th
August 2013.
DAMA, an association dedicated to Andhra handloom cottons,
will showcase Andhra’s culture in its range of colours, and prints. The range
includes fabrics and dupattas in bright colours, stripes and checks,
plains with zari and thread borders, natural dyes and kalamkari prints designed
for contemporary tastes and modern lifestyles. Sarees will be available
in a variety of borders, khadi and kalamkari designed and produced exclusively
by DAMA.
dāram brings its exciting range of garments for women and men. dāram is
Dastkar Andhra and its sister organizations are committed
to the handloom and handmade process and work towards supporting rural
livelihoods through interventions in technology, design and marketing.
